Harford County Soldier’s in the War of 1812

Tuesday, January 12, 2021 – Dr. Sandi Wallis will relate the story of the men who volunteered to serve in the war against the British. Harford Countians were very angry after the British troops burned Havre de Grace and attacked along the shores of the Chesapeake. Local men rushed to  enlist and join the battle in Baltimore. Dr. Wallis will tell the stories of these brave veterans and describe  a current ambitious project  to document the burial sites of these unrecognized veterans.
