This Meet & Greet social is an opportunity to learn more about Harford County’s role in the American Revolution and to celebrate the courageous men who signed the Bush Declaration. The evening will include stories about the town of Bush and the Bush Declaration, musical presentations on period instruments, a book signing by the author of Cooking Maryland’s Way: Voices of a Diverse Cuisine, Joyce White, and an opportunity to taste the rich selection of appetizers and “finger foods” representing the historical equivalent of what a colonial dame might have served in 1775. Descendents of the original Bush Declaration signers will gather in small groups and add their signatures to document pages dedicated to each signer. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Visit the Society’s website, www.harfordhistory.org, to register. The cost is $55 per person.
