Amy Rosenkrans is a noted expert on the Women’s Suffrage movement in Harford County.
Rosenkrans is a lifelong resident of Havre de Grace and has served as an educator in Prince George’s County, Baltimore City and at Havre de Grace High School. In 2021, she was elected to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Women’s Heritage Center as she was recognized for her passionate advocacy for ensuring Maryland women and girls become part of our nation’s history.
Ms. Rosenkrans is a memorable storyteller who loves to share her discoveries with her audiences. On Saturday, June 11th at 2 pm at the Little Falls Friend’s Meeting House, 719 Old Fallston Rd., Fallston, MD 21047, she will share the stories of the brave women in Harford County who fought for the right to vote and describe how this movement led to the county’s first League of Women Voters chapter. Tickets for the event are $10.
