The Star-Spangled Banner Trail

On Tuesday, May 10th at 12:30 pm, Katherine Marks Hardy, National Park Service Trail Manager for Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine, Hampton National Historic site and the Star-Spangled Banner Trail will share her amazing story about the development of the Star-Spangled Banner Trail and describe the highlights of this journey – one that may encourage a unique and fulfilling road trip this spring. This virtual presentation will traverse the 560-mile land and water route that tells the story of the War of 1812 in the Chesapeake Bay region with a focus on Harford County’s role in this epic tale. The event is free and open to the public.
