Researching Collateral Lines to Find Answers

The Historical Society’s Genealogy workshops continue with a program to help you through those  frustrating research moments when there just seem to be no answers.  Join Genealogist, Mary Schweers on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 7 pm to learn what to do when you hit a brick wall and have no idea how to continue. She will explain how it is sometimes best to work out of the lines.  There are tricks of the trade including pursuing other relatives, those who share a common ancestor but are not directly related to us – collateral relatives, to find information on direct ancestors. These tricks can make all of the difference, so plan on joining us for this fascinating detective story.
