Old Joppa Town on the Eve of the American Revolution

Dr. James Gibb, Director of the Smithsonian Environmental Archaeological  Laboratory and Dr. Adam Fracchia, research associate and practicing archaeologist at the University of Maryland and the Smithsonian Institution will provide a general history of the rise and fall of Old Joppa Town (1727 – 1768) as it is currently understood based on past and current archaeological work in the town. Learn how those discoveries contribute to our understanding of the American Revolution.
